About the day

This 3-wherry sailing begins at our base in Wroxham, heading downriver with a variety of cottages and grand houses on either side. As we leave habitation behind we'll enter Wroxham Broad, a wide expanse of open water enjoyed by pleasure craft and where birdlife can be spotted.  Sailing through, we rejoin the tree-lined Bure and continue past Salhouse Broad and through the busy riverside village of Horning.  Later, turning up the river Ant, you'll get to see just how we get a wherry under Ludham Bridge as we head towards How Hill - an area dedicated to the conservation of Broads habitats.

This sailing will be aboard either one of our wherry yachts, or our pleasure wherry Ardea.  The three boats will sail as close together as is practical through the day giving a spectacular sight.
