Wroxham to greet Hathor & return, aboard Ardea

Join us on our final sailing of the season. Starting from our wherry base at Barton House, Wroxham our pleasure wherry Ardea, accompanied by our three wherry yachts, will sail in the direction of Salhouse Broad to meet with our oldest wherry, Hathor. The full fleet will then return together to base.

About the day
Join us on our final sailing of the season. Leaving our base, we'll head away from the bustle of Wroxham with a variety of cottages and grand houses on either side. As we leave habitation behind we'll enter Wroxham Broad, a wide expanse of open water enjoyed by pleasure craft and where birdlife can be spotted (and sometimes otters!) From there, we continue along the tree-lined River Bure until we meet our oldest wherry, Hathor on her journey from How Hill. The full fleet will then sail together back to base. It's a magnificent sight!
This sailing will be aboard Ardea, which is Latin for Heron. She is the largest pleasure wherry ever built and often referred to as the most luxurious wherry in the WYC fleet.
