Ranworth to Wroxham, aboard a Wherry Yacht

This sailing is a one way journey starting from Ranworth to our wherry base at Barton House, Wroxham. For at least part of the day we will be in the company of Norada, making the same journey on a private charter. The trip will be aboard one of our three wherry yachts: Olive, Norada or White Moth.

About the day
This sailing begins at Ranworth and heads upriver through the busy riverside village of Horning. The journey continues along the river Bure, passing Salhouse and Wroxham Broads and Wroxham's waterside houses, to the wherry base at Barton House.
This sailing will be on board one of our wherry yachts (Olive or White Moth) which were all built by the Wroxham based boatbuilder and designer Ernest Collins between 1909 and 1915. For at least part of the day we will be sailing in company with Norada which will be making the same journey on a private charter.
Please park in the Wherry Yacht Charter car park at Barton House, Hartwell Road, Wroxham. NR12 8TL. A minibus will collect passengers at 9.25am and drive to Ranworth, where your wherry will be moored, in time for a 10.00am departure.
