About the day
This sailing begins at How Hill - an area dedicated to the conservation of Broads habitats. From How Hill, we sail down the River Ant where you'll get to see just how we get a wherry under Ludham Bridge. This is a beautiful area of the Broads, rich in birdlife. Keep your binoculars to hand! The journey continues along the River Bure where we will meet Wherry Yacht Charter's three wherry yachts: Olive, Norada and White Moth, and the fleet will journey together past Horning's bustling riverside and Wroxham's waterside houses, to the wherry base at Barton House.
This sailing will be aboard Hathor, our oldest wherry. Enjoy her lavish and stylish interior with the star attraction being her beautiful inlaid woodwork featuring ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics.
Please park in the Wherry Yacht Charter car park at Barton House, Hartwell Road, Wroxham. NR12 8TL A minibus will collect passengers at 8.25am…
