How Hill to Ludham Womack, catered sailing aboard Hathor. Book via How Hill

This sailing begins at How Hill an area dedicated to the conservation of Broads habitats. Keep your eyes peeled for swallowtail butterflies and konik ponies. From How Hill, we sail down the River Ant where you'll get to see just how we get a wherry under Ludham Bridge. This is a beautiful area of the Broads, rich in birdlife. Keep your binoculars to hand! At Thurne Mouth we join the River Thurne and journey upstream before turning into the narrow channels of Womack Dyke. Our destination is the picturesque village of Ludham, on the edge of Womack Water.  

A stop will be made en-route typically at one of the surrounding staithes for lunch. Meals and other refreshments are provided fresh from the How Hill kitchen, with wine or a soft drink, and morning and afternoon hot drinks are accompanied by either homemade biscuits or some of their superb cake. We can of course cater for any dietary requirements advised at the time of booking.  

This sailing will be aboard Hathor, our oldest wherry. Her lavish and stylish interior is extremely comfortable, with the star attraction being her beautiful inlaid woodwork featuring ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics.
