The founding member, Professor Aitken Clark OBE, served as Chairman until his death in 2010.

The Trustees generally meet every two months and invite Katy Walters (Friends Chairman), Peter Bower (Wherry Adviser) and Dean Howard (Operations Manager) to the meetings. The AGM is held in December.

We have a limited number of vacancies for Trustees and are looking for individuals who share our vision for the future of these iconic vessels and have relevant experience and skills/knowledge to share. This is very much a part-time unpaid role but vital to maintaining our wherry fleet on the Broads.

People wishing to express an interest in becoming a Trustee are asked to get in touch with John Ash (Chairman): . Please give brief details of the skills and experience you have to offer and we will be in touch.
