Wherry Yacht Charter Charitable Trust
Caring for the Broads' last wherry fleet

Trustees

Trustees (some with specific roles) comprise John Ash (Chair and project management), Paul Walshe (HLF), Jane Bryant (Friends link), Declan Keiley (business plans), Andrew Scull, Bill Housden (treasurer). Non-Trustees with defined roles comprise the Trust's wherry apprentice (situation currently vacant), and volunteers Dinah Slatter (education officer) and Pauline Simpson (administrator). The founding Chairman, Professor Aitken Clark OBE, served until his death in 2010.

Vacancies

We have vacancies for Trustees and are looking for individuals who share our vision for the future of these iconic vessels and have relevant experience and skills/knowledge to share. While this is very much a part-time role, we have much to achieve and it is important to be able to attend bi-monthly meetings (held in Wroxham), with occasional additional time available for distributed responsibilities as appropriate, and with full agreement.

People wishing to express an interest in becoming a Trustee are asked to get in touch with John Ash (Chair): or 01508 550116. Please give brief details of the skills and experience you have to offer and we will be in touch.
