Chartering a wherry gives you and your party exclusive use of the boat. A skipper is provided, but you are welcome to assist with sailing tasks as much or as little as you please. The skipper will help you to plan your cruise, taking into account wind and tide to ensure the itinerary is manageable and helping you to find the perfect places to moor awhile. Bookings generally start and end at our base in Wroxham, but other locations may be offered depending on our existing schedule.
We offer our wherries on a self-catering basis and they are equipped for the number of passengers shown below. Facilities include a galley (with hob, oven, fridge and kitchenware), toilet, in-cabin washbasins, and a shower (White Moth only). We provide bed linens for overnight charters.
The calendar on this page shows when our vessels are already booked. Enquiries are very welcome for other dates during our sailing season, which is Easter to the end of October. The wherries' current status is:
- White Moth - available for sailings lasting from half a day to a full week. Sleeps 10, capacity for day sailings 12.
- Norada - available for day sailings only (awaiting completion of full interior refit). Capacity 12.
- Olive - unavailable, awaiting restoration
- Hathor - unavailable, awaiting restoration
